Özet
Antioxidants and antioxidative enzymes transform the toxic effects of reactive oxygen species to harmless substances. Lactoperoxidase (LPO), the most crucial enzyme in milk, is a member of Peroxidases. In this study, some important drug substances, investigated the in vitro inhibitory effects on LPO enzyme. Bovine LPO enzyme was purified with using Amberlite CG-50 H+ resin and affinity chromatography. LPO was purified 406-fold from the synthesized affinity chromatography with a yield 74.24% and a specific activity of 29.69 EU/mg protein. The enzyme activity was measured using by ABTS substrate (pH 6.0). Soluble in organic solvents 2,6-Dimethylphenol, 2,6-di-t-butylphenol, di(2,6-dimethylphenol), di(2,6-diisopropylphenol), and di(2,6-di-t-butylphenol) were used as the active ingredient of a pharmaceutical agent. All these phenols were investigated here showed strong LPO inhibitory effects and competitive …
