Özet
Materials and Methods: The study was carried out using rectangular shape traps (120x80x80 cm) between June 2015 and September 2016 in the Sinop coasts of the Black Sea. Traps have 40 mm mesh size and galvanized wire material. A total of 4 traps were used in the 8 experiments. Traps were baited with small fishes. The setting of the traps were performed with a boat (11 m and 75 hp). The traps were set at 15 m depth and left in the sea during 15 days.Results: A total of 16859.3 g fishes and 10745.9 g crabs were caught by rectangular baited trap. 10 fish species (Merlangius merlangus euxinus, Mullus barbatus ponticus, Sciaena umbra, Scorpaena porcus, Diplodus annularis, Serrranus cabrilla, Gobius cobitis, Gobius platynostris, Labrus sp. species and 2 crabs (Ephira verucosa, Carcinus aestuarii) were captured in the study. A total catch of most captured crab and fish species were determined
