| Özet |
| In this study, the disaster management model is analysed in a holistic approach in line with the needs and capacities of different disability groups. Within the scope of the study, the disaster managemen for disabled individuals has been evaluated in terms of earthquake disasters, considering its risks and destructive effects. The first aim of the study is to organize favourable forms of behaviour for disabled individuals and their families during and after an earthquake. In this way, the study aims to decrease the damages that earthquake may cause by increasing the level of disaster awareness and resilience of individual and society. The other purpose of the study is to create a holistic resource for new studies to be carried out for the disaster management process that is sensitive to professionals working in the field and individuals with disabilities. Within the framework of these purposes, the stages of the disaster management model were evaluated in an earthquake disaster-specific manner, disaster management strategies sensitive to disabled individuals were handled holistically, and a disability-sensitive disaster management was organized. |
