| 1 Sinop Üniversitesi Su Ürünleri Fakültesi, Akliman-Sinop DOI: 10.17693/yunusae. v2013i21906. 235426 Viewed: 1906-Downloaded: 1565 In this study, body weight, egg properties and their relationship were investigated in Astacus leptodactylus (Eschsholtz, 1823) in spawning season in Ulugöl of Bafra Fish Lakes. In the experiment mean weight of female individuals were obtained as 40.89 g, mean total egg weight 3.16±0.27 and unit egg weight 0.018±0.001 g. In additional average number of eggs were found to be 178.07±13.69, average number of eggs for per unit live weight 4.36±0.30 ind./g and mean diameter of egg 2.11±0.05 mm were found in female individuals. In the experiment relationships between total weight and total weight of egg (r= 0.74), total weight and number of eggs (r= 0.52) total weight of egg and number of egg (r= 0.72), number of eggs and number of eggs for per unit live weight (r= 0.84) were found significant (p< 0.05).
