| Education has been one of the elements that societies have emphasized the most since the past. How a better education can be provided is perhaps the most basic purpose of this element. For this purpose, comparative education studies have emerged by investigating the elements of education of one or more countries by individuals or communities.Although the most basic reflective of the education systems is the curricula, the textbooks written with reference to the curricula and widely used by the teachers to shape the lectures are also important sources of information (Baştürk, 2010; Bergwall, 2019).
