Özet
In this study, the effects of feeding with five different feeds (Artemia sp., Daphnia sp., Commercial fish food+Artemia sp., Artificial fish food+Daphnia sp., Artificial fish food) on growth of fry guppies were investigated with three replicates. The experiment lasted 60 days. Between the groups, fish fed with Artemia supplement to artificial fish food (3. group) were obtained the best growth (weight, lenght, specific growth rate) performance and survival rate. However, the lowest growth performance and survival rate were obtained from fish fed with Daphnia sp. (2. group). The results, among the groups, were statisticaly significant (p<0.05). This study was showed that the use of Daphnia sp. to feeding alone is not suitable prey for fry guppies 5-6 weeks.
