Özet
This study has been done to determine the heavy metal accumulation levels in washed and unwashed samples of Ulva lactuca and Cystoseira barbata. The research was carried out between April 1992-December 1992. These samples were collected from the selected three stations along the Sinop coasts of the West Black Sea region. On the other hand, the water samples were taken from these localities. Washed and unwashed samples of the 2 algae and the water samples were analyzed in the Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer. The heavy metals analyzed are Zinc (Zn), Copper (Cu), Cadmium (Cd), Nickel (Ni), Lead (Pb), Manganese (Mn) and Iron (Fe). The results of the heavy metal analysis are given in Tables and Figures.
