Özet
The exclusive photoproduction of [Formula omitted] meson states from protons,[Formula omitted](with [Formula omitted]), is studied in ultraperipheral [Formula omitted] Pb collisions at a centre-of-mass energy per nucleon pair of [Formula omitted]. The measurement is performed using the [Formula omitted] decay mode, with data collected by the CMS experiment corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 32.6 [Formula omitted]. Differential cross sections as functions of the [Formula omitted] transverse momentum squared [Formula omitted], and rapidity y, are presented. The [Formula omitted] photoproduction cross section is extracted in the rapidity range [Formula omitted], which corresponds to photon-proton centre-of-mass energies in the range [Formula omitted]. The data are compared to theoretical predictions based on perturbative quantum chromodynamics and to previous measurements.
