| Özet |
| The aim of this study is to describe budget management processes at universities in Turkey according to university/faculty managers' opinions and to reveal the effects of budget implementation on daily life of university components with the help of experiences of these components. The research used both qualitative and quantitative research method. Survey model was used as a part of quantitative research method. Interviews were made in order to reveal university/faculty managers' opinions about budget management processes and to obtain managers and subjective assessments of university component about this process. The population of the research is composed by both state universities and foundation universities which run educational activities in Turkey. It contains 1097 rectors and deans from state and foundation universities composing population of the research. The number of samples is 282 that is calculated from population of the research. Working group is composed of totally 66 members that include managers, teachers, students and university component from Ankara, Balıkesir and Erzincan Universities. Semi-structured interview forms for university components (student, academic stuff, administrative stuff) and questionnaire which is titled" Budget Management Survey for University Managers" have been developed by researcher as data collection tools.
