Özet
This study examined the effect of using concept cartoons in a life science lesson on students’ attitude toward the life science lesson. In the research conducted using a quasi-experimental model, the sample group comprised 69 students in 3rd grade. A life science attitude scale was applied to the experimental and control groups before and after the procedure. As a result of the pre-test, no significant difference was found in the attitudes of the experimental and control groups towards the life studies course. In the study concept cartoons have been used for six weeks in the life science lesson for the experimental group, and the teaching process of the control group was not changed. After the experimental procedure, the attitude scores of the experimental and control groups were evaluated with dependent and independent t-test.
