| Özet |
| In this study, the current status of anchovy (Engraulis encrasicolus, L., 1758) and sprat (Sprattus sprattus, L., 1758), which are used in the production of fish meal oil, in the fish meal and oil sector were analyzed. The fisheries data of the study were taken from commercial fishing vessels in 2010-2014 fishing seasons and fish meal-oil data were collected from factories in the region in 2008-2018 were carried out. In the Black Sea, anchovies are caught with purse-seine and midwater trawl and sprat with midwater trawl. In the Black Sea, anchovies are captured more extensively and in large areas, sprat catches within a limited range in certain months. In this case, production, fish mealoil factories and fish processing potential also varies.
