| Event tourism has become a very effective type of tourism in the development of destinations where tourism activities are carried out intensively in recent years. Since it is one of the tourism types that people prefer extensively, event tourism provides many positive effects to the region. Especially, it has a great impact on the development of tourism in the region and economic development. Event tourism also affects the increase in income from tourism, as it is effective in the longer tourism season. At the same time, event tourism has an important role in improving the image of the region, increasing its attractiveness and ensuring its sustainability. Accordingly, event tourism has many positive effects both in the short and long term. Event tourism, which has very important economic and cultural effects, is a type of tourism that people prefer in regions where recreational activities are intense, to be motivated and have fun by moving away from their working life and negative situations. Due to the high interest of tourists today, event tourism, which provides economic income in many regions of the world, contributes greatly to the development of tourism. Today, many tourist destinations support the development of local and national image by focusing on event tourism, as well as contributing to the economic development of the region and local people, thus contributing to the development of tourism to a great extent. |
