| This study aimed to develop suggestions for removing the obstacles and difficulties in front of the career development of women in the tourism sector in Turkey. In addition to this situation, suggestions will be made to remove the gender discrimination faced by women in working life and the obstacles in front of their career development. In order for women to be empowered in working life, the opportunities they need should be provided. It is thought that diversity management can create an opportunity for this to happen. It is thought that diversity management can have a significant impact on the implementation of practices that can reveal the talents and potentials of women so that they have equal rights with men.
