Özet
The main objective of this study is to evaluate promising oat cultivars adapted to coastal area of Aegean Region in terms of quality parameters. The research was conducted using Randomized Block Design and two trials with four replications in the fields of Aegean Agricultural Research Institute in 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 growing season. In these trials, grain yield, thousand kernel weight, hectoliter weight, kernel size, protein, fat, starch, dietary fibre, β-glucan and hull ratio were examined. For the lines of Oat Yield Trial-1 (OYT-1) 278, 5-550, 3 kg/da grain yield, 26, 4-36, 2 g thousand kernel weight, 49, 2-56, 3 kg/hl hectolitre weight, 1, 6-40, 8% kernel size, 9, 9-13, 7% protein, 5, 2-8, 3% fat, 45, 1-59, 6% starch, 12, 0-25, 4% dietary fiber, 2, 1-4, 0% beta glucan, 22, 3-32, 1% hull ratio were obtained; while for lines of OYT-2 200, 4-552, 3 kg/da, 24, 4-33, 6 g thousand kernel weight, 48, 5-54, 9 kg/hl hectoliter weight …
