| Özet |
| In this study has been applied to determine the selectivity of mono and multifilament gillnets with 40 and 44 mm mesh size for blue fish (Pomatomus saltatrix L., 1766). This study was carry out from October 2001 till February 2002 in the inner harbour of Sinop. Holt (1963) method, which is the indirect calculation method, was used to determine the selectivity of gillnets. Proportion of caught fish by monofilament and multifilament gillnets were 76.65% and 23.35%, respectively. Acording the results, the common selection factor was found as 4.58 for monofilament and 4.74 for multifilament gillnets. |
