OWFs are also of great importance for reaching the Dutch objective of providing 20% sustainable energy in 2020 [3]. A significant expansion of wind energy is expected in Europe in the near future, with increasing emphasis on OWFs [4].The share of renewable energy for electricity generation in Germany was about 14% in the year 2007 and target of the German Federal Government is to increase this to 30% by 2020 [4]. Moreover, wind energy is currently the most important renewable energy source for electricity generation in Germany, with a total share of 6. 4%[5].
