| Özet |
| It has been revealed that; when contemporary literature is analysed; Doping has evolved along with the improvements in technology and gene doping is the final phase. Even though gene doping was listed among banned substances and methods by the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) approximately ten years ago, the issue still remains its uncertainty. This study aims to define gene doping, then to explain what gene doping methods are. The study also reviewed how the gene to be doped attained and which genes are used frequently and for what purpose. After reviewed the relative literature ethics and risks of gene doping is emphasized. Finally, ethical aspects of the impacts of gene doping on success is discussed. |
